CANCER…WHAT A HEARTACHE !

It’s been five months since my mom passed away, and the pain feels fresh. Grieving is unpredictable; some days are filled with happiness, while others pull me into sorrow and guilt. I often reflect on my mom’s independence, which both inspired me and masked her struggles. I feel fortunate to have been there for her in her final days, especially when so many haven’t had the chance for a last goodbye. It’s crucial to remember that it’s okay to celebrate joy amid mourning and to check in on the strong friends around us who may be silently suffering.
