I HIT A WALL !

A couple of months ago, something terrible happened. Even though I never spoke of it, the thought of it never left my mind.

I’m the type of person who overthinks things before I voice them. I have a Ph.D. cum laude (with honors) in the ”Art of Overthinking”. Making up scenarios, planning arguments, and having a whole discussion about it in my head is the perfect way for me to weigh all my pros and cons. Why do I do that? Who knows.

What I do know is that it had caught up to me. Constant paranoia, anxiety, and frequently questioning, doubting myself and my abilities. I stress eat a lot and my sleep cycle is all over the place. In other words, I felt and am still feeling out of balance.

Throughout this challenging period of my life, I was fortunate enough to have my loved ones’ support to help me push through. Although I’m not practically out of the woods yet, I know this storm shall pass.

So, I say this to you, my friends: when you feel like you’re about to hit a wall, know that you can lean on it, rest and use it as momentum to build yourself back up. Those who truly care about you will help you move forward, with love, patience, and understanding.
