Do you often find yourself having deja-vus? Or feel like you have been in a place before even though you know 100% there is no way that you could’ve been? What about dreams? Ever had these weird dreams that felt like a warning yet you’re not sure how to interpret them? Or you’re not sure what the universe is trying to warn you against?
I am an empath, meaning I am quite sensitive to energies or things happening around me even if I don’t speak about it or act on it. Multiple times I have had dreams, flashes, or visions of things happening. Sometimes I don’t understand it or remember it until it happens and I have that deja-vu feeling. Could be just a whiff of perfume or food.
Recently I had this weird dream about a family friend, let’s call him William. We haven’t seen William in at least 5years. At first, I didn’t think anything of it, it was just a random dream like many others. I kept having dreams about him a couple of weeks after that so of course, I went to nag my mother to try to get in touch with him. It took a couple of days for her to reach him finally. It turns out, William had a near-death experience and was in a coma. Said experience happened precisely when I started having those weird dreams.
What did those dreams mean? Was that his call for help while he was in a dark place? My mom is a prayer warrior, like most Haitian mothers, and maybe he needed a push because he felt like giving up the fight? Maybe he needed prayers more than ever?
This was one of many, I wonder how many times I have received signs like this and failed to recognize them? How many times were I in a position to help someone and I didn’t? Sometimes I think I’m just getting paranoid, overthinking, not trusting my intuition. The same thing happened when my friend was having a miscarriage, told her about my dreams and we laughed about it. A couple weeks passed and she got the bad news.
